I passed the 221 exam today.  I had 4 cases and 48 questions.  I did get a score at the end as well.

The exam wasn't that difficult.  I just caught myself several times losing concentration when reading through the case study information.  It just got to the point at times where I was like blah, blah, blah let's get on to the questions. Smiley

All I really did to study for this was go over the material I used for 216 and used Transcenders for the 221 to get used to the exam format.  I think 216 is the more difficult exam.  You do need to think about what they are trying to accomplish in the case studies prior to answering the questions.  I found myself flipping back and forth quite a bit for information.

This exam is definitely "doable" and if you've just passed 216, I'd recommend taking this one next as the information is still fresh in your mind.  Some of the questions are unbelievably simple, while others are fairly complex and difficult.

Not that bad of an experience, but I won't be taking another case study exam anytime soon.  We'll 1 more for my MCSE in 2000.  I'll finish it off with 217 and then I'm done for a while

Great job on the pass. I'm planning on taking this exam next week as my last exam to be MCSE 2K certified. Were you able to go back to a previous case once you completed it?

217 shouldn't be a problem. I found straight forward. Lots on group policy, groups, permissions, and surprisingly printers. If you know that inside and out, you're good to go.

Yes, you can move around all over the place through the various case studies.

Congrats, I did 217 and working on 216 for the moment. 217 will be like a walk in the park for you since I find 216 to be a tough one

Been a while since I could find the time to drop in, and I noticed you passed the 221, so congratulations and best of luck to you on the 217. AD will be a nice change of pace for you, you'll be amazed at all the stuff you can do with it. Take care!
