Well, I guess I wasn't totally prepared the 1st time, failed this one.  It's my last exam on the MCSE W2K -- how frustrating, oh well, I'm getting right back on the horse, trying again tomorrow.

The drag and drop questions are the worst!

Good luck! The design exams require not just knowledge but a familiarity of the mechanical function of the questions themselves. 220 and 221 have enough dragon drops to sink you even if you score perfect in the multiple choice sections.

The key to this exam is:

Who is connecting to what, by what means, and how are you going to secure it.

Sorry to hear that you didn't beat this one.  You're not alone on that, I'm sure.  You might want to look at the links I put in this thread before tackeling this test again.

Best wishes to you on the retake.

Thanks all for your support and helpful tips, I passed this one this morning, I am now MCSE W2K!  Yay!   I am thinking of moving into the security area to specialize so I will be searching for information on that topic now.

Thanks again!

Congrats!!!

Implementing Security 70-214 will be out of beta soon, that is a good follow up for this one. Then of course there are vendor neutral certs for this as well. Read the Hacking Exposed series for some real eye-openers!!!

Cool,  thanks for the info ... I had heard at the Technet seminar that I attended last week that the Hacking Exposed series is good but it's great to hear the opinion of someone that isn't being paid to say so...

I'm also working on this one as my final exam. Thanks for all the info.

One good note about the MS Training Kit for the 220....MS Press gives you 180 days FREE access to the online Measure-Up exam prep for 220 by entering the web key they provide on the cdrom package!
