I want to thank everyone for commenting  for the past two years. I have been reading everyone's comments about  the IT industry. My understanding of the IT industry has quadrupled tremendously.

Here‘«÷s my story:

Within the past two years, I was supporting several sql servers. I have experience in using asp to connect to a database and retrieve information to a website so a financial analyst can make a decision. Basically, developers would develop the applications and would turn ownership over to us. My title is [application support specialist].  I have an Associate of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree; concentration in Finance. However, I really never did use my finance degree to its potential. The kind of jobs I have had after graduation have been; accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounts specialist etc.

I have been mixed emotions about following the mcse program or mcdba program. Currently, I am NOT doing any sql,asp, and javascript stuff anymore. I support a tool by Remedy Corporation called [Action Request System: BLT]. I am the site admin for this tool.

Should I do my MBA, do a certification, or just continue taking technical classes at a community college. I am totally confused. Need some, or a lot of advise [advice] which ever.

Experience and education in the following areas from a junior college or one week training:
MS SQL 7.0 and 2000 environment
Microsoft Windows  2000
Web Publishing with FrontPage 2000.
Visual Basic Programming 6.0
MCSE Networking Essentials
Microsoft Word / Excel
ASP(Active Server Pages)
Hyperion Essbase Product
[Temtec Corporation] Executive Viewer Product
C++ Programming
Cobol Programming
Novell Netware 3.11 / 3.12NT Lan and Wide Area Networks
Remedy Corporation  [Action Request System]
