I just signed up for this exam through VUE. They told me the exam code was wrong and  that it was actually 71-218. Why is this? Is it because this is a beta exam? Also the person at VUE said that you have 240 mins./4 hours to complete this test. WOW, this must be a long test!!!

Just looked on MS Site, whilst in its beta version 070-218 will be known as 071-218.

Normally, a beta version can have up to 80 questions, thus the 4 hours to take the exam.

Another pointer is that you will not know straight away if you have passed.  Results are sent to MS who score the exam and then let you know by e-mail if you have passed!

Hope this helps

This does help ALOT. I think some people are being turned away from testing centers for this test because they ask for 70-218 and they do not have it in their computers. I know I was, so I called VUE themselves and registered. I was lucky I got the last appointment in my area for the 21st. I think Microsoft should have told the invited about this so there was no confusion at the time you registered at the testing centers.
