I'm about to start preparing for my 70-240 exam. There are a host of study aids out, however, I have little time to waste on ineffective core study materials.

I have complied a list of five of the most popular 70-240 core study aids.

If you have PASSED the 70-240... Could you please give my your personal opinion on which of these books are the BEST to purchase. If neither of these books are right, please forward your recipe for success...

A.)MCSE Windows 2000 Accelerated Exam Prep: Exam: 70-240
by Lance Cockcroft, Erik Eckel, Ron Kauffman
The Coriolis Group; ISBN: 157610690X

B.)MCSE Windows 2000 Accelerated Study Guide: Exam 70-240 (With CD-ROM)

C.)MCSE: Accelerated Windows 2000 Study Guide Exam 70-240 (With CD-ROM)
by Michael Chacon, James Chellis, Lisa Donald, Anil Desai, Robichaux, Paul Robichaux

Since the 70-240 is actually four mini-tests, I studied for each test individually.  I used MS Press, Exam Cram, New Riders, Transcenders and the Resource Kit.

I used:

70-240 Accelerated guide from Corolis
MS Press Core Four
Sybex Core Four
Tons of White papers from MS
Resource Kits

And they all worked for me....:-)

Hi Andy,

How are you doing there? I was just wondering, first of all, what did you think of the Coriolis Accelerated Exam Prep? Also, just out of curiosity, what order did you read/use those materials?

Still plugging away here. Not making as much headway as would have hoped due to external influences, if you know what I mean. I am forging onward and upward though.

What a grind!

 See ya!

if i'd like to actually LEARN the material, what would you have to say then? or would you know?

ps. is this http://209.2071.67.177 a real ip address? for some reason i don't think it looks valid. maybe an example as to why you shouldn't rely on dumps? just a thought.

You can do what you want mate, I for one actually value the certs that I have, people like you are destroying that value.

It is because of people like you that I don't visit this site much now, in fact...bollocks I am not going to be visiting it again.

'Bye all, it used to be fun
