I voted XP, but Vista on the right platform can hold its own.

I remember when XP was released and folks were, at first, skeptic about its performance too.  As hardware caught up, so did the performance of XP.

When Windows 7 is released, I wonder how it will be perceived in the masses?  When the RC is made available around the first part of May, I plan on getting a copy of it to see what all the hullabaloo is about.  Smiley

Hands down XP.  Remember the "Vista Capable" campaign? Vista's Aero graphics wouldn't work with some of Intels graphics processors?

No it doesn't. Microsoft is massively motivated (nice aliteration eh?)to do whatever it takes to get Windows 7 into the enterprise, and from what I've heard its a lot more stable and friendly than Vista
