No, there is no need for my career path.  I havn't see any small to mid-size companies using Novell for few years.

Nor have I. Too expensive to deploy maybe?

I saw Groupwise still around, but not much on Novell NetWare.

I want to do the MCNE, but just no time and very difficult to get hand on at this time.

Novell is alive & well in the Cincinnati area. Bad for me with MS background. As Mark Twain put it, Cincy is appx 20 years behind the times

i stopped my novell studies years ago.it just didn't seem worth while to continue with, i preferred cisco instead.it's easier for companies to deploy microsoft and maintain even though novell is by far a better operating system.

Unfortunately Novell lost it's way with marketing many years ago.

But Novell Netware is still being used by many Universities in the UK and I assume elswhere. It still is the best OS for file sharing beats MS hands down in all corners. We looked at replacing 60 Netware servers with MS servers with a 20,000 user base and were taken aback with the need for 1 server per 1000 users before degradation set in that would be 1200 servers to replace 60 Novell Servers.
