Hello, everyone:

Happy New Year to all of you.

I have a Imac os 9.1, internet explorer Mac edition 5.
I have this error message:
not enough memory to open the plugin shockwave flash np-ppc, allocatiog more memory to internet explorer may help.

I dont knwo why I have this shock wave message, I dont know how to allocate more memory to internet explorer.Huh??

This imac was given to me.

Why I can not see jpg file in this Imac but I can see it in PC?Huh??

I also have this security notice message everytime I click on a website.

It said you are submitting a form which is not secure. The information you are sending can be read while in transit.

It is not a big deal and just click send but why it keeps coming up.

anyone has any ideas please let me know,

thank you

You can try adding more memory to an application by highlighting the app,(Internet Explorer), while it is not open, just the icon.  Next click "File" from the menu bar and choose "Get Info" or "Show Info".  You can add more memory to it within that  Get Info window.

As far as the security message goes, there should be a checkbox on that window that says something about "Don't show this message again".  It should be in the lower left corner. Uncheck it and it will go away

Im doing this from memory and I haven't used OS 9 in a long time so I hope I remember correctly.

good luck!
