Describe in detail exactly what it is that you want. You want to run a news server, or a content management system?

I assume he wants something to update a web page with news item so couple ppl, like in a gaming guild, can post news.

buy a book, look for website that offer tutorials. You can't want to do something and not want to learn how to do it. For ASP alone, I have ASP2.0 book, ASP3.0 book, and another on ASP Database and prolly one or two more I think. This is the only way you can improve yourself.

edit: just read the other thread. there are some script using text file... but I would concur, get a web hosting account. If it is worth putting on the internet, then it is worth its own little addy. There are plenty of places that offer a full service basic webhosting for like 3-5 bucks.

I don't play with frontpage, but I would assume it would have some integrated function with vbscript/asp. choice is entirely up to you.
