Hello everyone,

I have installed the exchange at home on windows2000 server in order to practice . Then  something went wrong and I deleted the content of the  exchange folder from the program file of the server( because I couldn‘«÷t delete the program completely from the add/remove programs), and now when I want to re-install it‘«™‘«™.. I get this message:
‘«£‘«™‘«™‘«™.Cannot be re-install because‘«™.
.-the Active directory Schema is not up to date, you must Run set up with ‘«£/forestprep‘«ō switch, if you have already done‘«™‘«™‘«™‘«™‘«™wait for replication.
-   The Local domain configuration is not up to date, you must run set up with the ‘«£/Domainprep‘«ō switch with in this domain‘«™..‘«ō

So I put those switches with ( setup/Domainprep) at Run  but doesn‘«÷t work, could anybody please let me know what can I do?
Kind regard

There is a Microsoft Knowledge Base article that describes how to manually uninstall Exchange. There are several registry entries that must be deleted before you can put Exchange back on.XADM: How to Manually Remove an Exchange 2000 Installation
You may have other issues in Active Directory, where AD thinks the server is still there, etc. But try this first...
