4 cases
40 Qs
even I am sure know most of the topics in this one, I couldn't figure out the right answers:confused:
the problem with me I couldn't collect all the case study information to apply the right solution., specially when moving from one case to another, I confused by the large amount of information in each case ansd some times mix them.
any suggesion to deal with this one?

OK, if they mean by cash register the device that used to get your money out of your pocket when you are leaving the supermarket!!!
what should I plan for that thing, for authentication? should I deal with it as smartcard!!!!
Also Kiosk that we are using for train tickets and to get an Ice-Tea or a stick of chocolate, !!!
What should I have to know about authentication, I think next time I will get a Q about how to prepare a plate of rice!!!!
?

Even no response I will complete this thread lonly
after search ms technet:
Kiosk
A workstation that uses the Kiosk scenario is similar to a TaskStation, but users are anonymous. No customizations can be made and no user state is preserved. A kiosk has the following characteristics:
ΤΗσ Is a public workstation
ΤΗσ Runs only one application
ΤΗσ Uses only one user account and automatically logs on
ΤΗσ Has users who are unknown to the Kiosk owner, as users do not have, or provide, any log-on credentials
ΤΗσ Runs unattended
ΤΗσ Is highly secure
ΤΗσ Is simple to operate
ΤΗσ Does not allow users to make changes to the default settings
ΤΗσ Does not save data to the disk
ΤΗσ Is always on

Passed today with an 829!!!
I had about a few minutes to spare...maybe 5. When I began the test, some questions seemed to be still downloading and i lost almost a minute from my timer.
I had some trouble with the select and place diagrams..holding shift and moving the stupid objects around. If you have an old mouse, as i did, it's very easy to select multiple protocols or objects.
As with the 214, if you don't read critically, you're doomed. I had to switch back and forth between the cases and the questions, but I took notes and drew diagrams, and I think that it helped me a great deal.
Also, I read the questions before I read the case study. I think this helps me to read more critcally.
Best of luck adam and everyone else who will face this challenge.
On to 2003!
