i managed to connect my mac to the win 2k network but it doen't seem to apply any of the ntfs permissions.

anyone know how to tighten up security?

i'm using 10.3, integration into active directory went fine, its just that every user can get access to every share on the win2k server!!!

Make sure the passwords for the Apple users are stored on the AD DC with reversible encryption.  Apples cannot build the proper access token like Windows machines can.
