I think I've posted this before but can't be sure.

A friend who just recently made MCSE told me that since they extended the deadline for the NT 4.0 Core exams, the entire NT 4 track must be completed by 2/28/01.  Is this the case, or do those of us who have passed the Core 4 as of 2/28 still have til 12/31/01 to complete the NT 4 track?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Ames,

I Believe that the info your friend gave you is somewhat incorrect. As far as I know, the only exams that need to be completed by Feb 28,2001, are the ones that would have been retired on Dec. 31, 2000. In other words the core NT4 exams, electives like TCP/IP, IIS4. If you have completed all the retiring core and or whatever retiring elective exams by Feb 28, you can still complete your NT4 MCSE,
by finishing your electives with non-retiring exams such as Exchange 5.5, Proxy 2.0 etc.

Anyway, that is info that I have here. I hope that it helps. Good luck!

Kang is correct.  I confirmed this a while back for myself through mcp@msprograms.com  They're pretty good at answering any questions on exams and such.
