I've never been asked to show my certs either.

Actually I've not done any since my 2000 ones.

Although may do some entry level MAC ones as the site I'm on now uses some MACs and they would be 'happier' if I had some formal MAC training.

This Site is still functioning...
I can't believe People still come here. Don't we all have our Certs now?
As some of you know, I opened my own Computer Business in 2002; just when this Site was still alive and kicking.
Now it is 2014 and I am still in Business, been through a lot but learned a bunch.
In the last 12 years out of about 2800 Customers that I have in my Database now, only 10-15 or so asked to see my Certs.
What a Joke!
But without my Certs, I probably wouldn't have pulled it off. So it's all good.
I feel like I am talking to myself here posting in a dead Forum.
If anyone wants to get a hold of me, go to my Website.

Cheers, all.

Still in IT.  Retired from the military and then worked my way into the IT filed.  This was my go to site back-in-the-day.  It has been a blast but getting tired of it.  Too many non-IT managers in charge of IT resources.  Preparing for my second retirement.

First thing, try to get into safe mode and identify anything hardware changes that may have inadvertently been made. This error can be followed by the BSOD where there maybe a hardware/software issue.

Let us know whatcha find out.

You do realize that he asked this question almost SEVEN years ago, don't you?   Roll Eyes

Could be a slow to load PC

Haven't been here in quite a while.  I stop by every few years while reminiscing.  Back in the early 2000's I was just getting into the IT filed and this was a great site for certification information.  I was constantly reading postings on the sige.  Sad to see what the site has turned into however times change and people change.  Nothing stays the same.  Two of my favorite posters were SomeGuy and Paisleysky.

Wasn't as such, worked for a media company making sure their TV programs stayed on air, so wasn't strictly IT.

Now back doing IT support again.

Might have to get a few more newer certs.
