2  CompTIA / Network+ / acquire ip for belkin n1 wireless clients on: November 09, 2007, 12:32:40 PM
hi there Smiley

I am trying to figure out how to acquire IP for belkin n1 wireless clients.

1- belkin n1 wireless router
2- connected to an adsl gateway router to gain internet access to my home network clients
3- if I configure this belkin n1 wireless router
as an ACCESS POINT it will stop DHCP service for clients
4- my question is: How can I assign IP addresses to my wireless clients when I need to access the internet using belkin n1 wireless router
?

any simple idea

thanks
3  CompTIA / A+ forum / network printer! on: June 04, 2007, 11:55:52 AM
Thanks

The printer is connected to the network with Ethernet interface, print server is the printer it self, no need for sharing.

Anyway, I installed the printer in some of the network computers with no problem.

I guess a software problem, some thing like spy ware, software on that computer.

I have the same problem with hp photo smart 2573, connected to the USB locally, after contacting hp support, they ask me to stop any messenger application, perform a disk clean up (temp, cookies and that sort of things) also stop startup programs, and the installation was breezing.

That didn't work with this printer

- printer not shared
- environment workgroup

Hi there

HP LASERJET P2015N NETWORK PRINTER
I couldn't get to install it in more than one machine.

the installation process could search and recognize the printer model and IP, but as soon as I click next to install that specified printer, it starts over and the window to chose between network or local connected printer starts over, again and again.

I couldn't find any valuable instructions regarding this problem on the web.

Any help please
Thanks

some motherboard require you to donwload a driver !!!

yes, the motherboard needs a driver for the sata driver to be recognized by windows.

but i like to eliminate the hassle and disable sata.

i couldn't find any way to do that on bios!

and there are no documentation for the product on the internet!

Well I used to have such problem with my own PC. I don't think it's the montherboard.

In my case, I have replced the power supply and everything went perfect. I'm not sure if yuor problem is the same... But doesn't hurt to try.
