Have you tried hooking up both machines to a dumb hub and accessing the share that way ?
2  Other IT certifications / Check Point / Transcender on: April 25, 2005, 12:11:52 PM
I bought a transcender this weekend for the CCSA and in the simulated exams, it has 96 questions in 90 minutes.
3  Other IT certifications / Check Point / CP CCSA on: April 23, 2005, 12:59:01 PM
I just got done with Mgt 1 and 2 training course on Friday.  I have been working with CP for about 3 months and found that I know alot of the stuff, HOWEVER, there are things that I knew nothing about.

I agree installing and working with the interface even in a demo mode is the way to go.

I have a couple of questions.  One how long is the test?  How many questions are on the exam ?

I know they are undeliverables.  I am trying to figure out how to eliminate them from interacting with my exchange server.

Tbird,

When you had to troubleshoot the faulty network, what was faulty about it?
7  Cisco / CCNA / Cisco job oppertunities on: May 01, 2003, 10:19:08 AM
Mung,

You might want to use a spell checker.  I am not being an a**, but being on the interviewer side, I noticed too many spelling mistakes in peoples resumes.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

10  Cisco / CCNP / Exam on: April 29, 2003, 09:46:22 AM
I went to school and took an 8 week CCNA class.  It was very helpful.  Look around in your area to see if a college has any Cisco classes.  It is helpful when looking at configs and design.

14  General discussions / General Discussion / Windows 2000 Migration on: July 16, 2002, 12:36:50 AM
I am looking for someone who has completed a Windows 2000 Migration.

I have a single domain model.  I am only upgrading the server farm to Win2k.  What I am basically looking for is some documenation to support your migration.  I am really looking for someone to provide some business cases that you used as reasons to migrate.

My company has about 150 users.  We are a prepaid phone company.  We currently do not do any e-commerce, but I am hoping to change that.  If anyone can provide some sample documentation, that would be awesome.   If you would like to send me an email, please let me know and I will give you my work email address.
