I have a workgroup. on a vista home premium pc i shared files on the public docs folder. i want only some of the workgroup members to see the shared files I entered the users' names that are authorized to log on the vista pc. Anything i do, everybody on the workgroup can see the files. please help.

i have 2 workgroups connected to one linksys router:1)staff  and 2)clients. the pc's are xp pro, xp home 2k and win98.
what do i do in order to:
1.staff computers can see both workgroups
2.clients computers can see only clients computers

please help

thanks, but i did configure the router.i like to use a wireless connection with my laptop instead the cable.it looks like this wireless pc card is not compatible with this router

have a gateway solo 2150 laptop p3 500 mhz,288 mb ram,xp pro which works fine.i have a belkin wireless card in it.i have cable internet,but i used to connect also to a neighbor wireless connection. when he moved i installed a di-524 d-link wireless router.now the problem:the moment i try to connect to my wireless connection the laptop freezes.i tried everything to solve this problem.i can connect even with another ancient laptop w/o problems.it's frustrating.
please help

i use at work a workgroup .the file server has win xp pro.we have fast internet shared by a router which is also a hub.i want to add several more computers(some xp,98 and Me)to the workgroup .the new computers need internet access but without access to the file server.how do i block them from "seeing" the file server?

i reinstalled win xp.when i start my pc,i have a choice of the 2 xp systems to boot with:the first is the new installation,and the second is the previous,damaged one.
how do i get rid of the second line?

Make sure your browser supports the languages you want to see, and that hotmail supports them.  (Not all the webmail programs do, so you may see them on one computer at home and not on another at another place; depends on provider)
