If you press F9 it will but when online, sychronize all folders upon exiting is ticked etc. any ideas, even weirder when the user works offline it synchs okay but on the network and closing Outlook, nothing........thanks

7  General discussions / General Discussion / AOL (Yuk!!) Address Book..... on: August 10, 2004, 05:46:11 AM
A friend of mine (honest) uses AOL ( I know I have told him). Anyway his machine has gone up the spout, no doubt thanks to AOL software. Anyway he has over a thousand e-mail addresses in his contacts. Surely these contacts will be saved with AOL not on the hard drive. He isn't very computer literate, so he'd go with the default. I have managed to save two AOL directories but I can't see any obvious like .pab or anything like that. Anyone know how the address book works with AOL. Cheers

Study_tx your English is atrocious. And isn't it obvious if you don't upgrade a driver the device will not work!!! Have your run the compatibility menu from the XP cd? Boulware is right, go to the manufacturers web site of the modem or NIC get the XP drivers and backup what you want and perform a clean install. I am amazed your a MCSA and a CCNA....and your running ME...shame on you.......I had ME for a day several years ago and got rid of it......utter shite

Well you can use VNC but you need to install the client software on the target machine but there is a Reg hack that doesn't ask for users permission. Just don't touch the mouse!!!!!
