passed it finally achieved MCSA status, this was a pretty easy exam, in and out, took me 45 minutes and I went through the exam twice, I used easycert by jrksoftware as a measure tool and it was pretty good.
Now I would appreciate any information regarding 292.
Thank YOu

4  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-218 / Maximum Number of Network on: January 15, 2004, 01:38:23 PM
b4 i hear it i did not forget the last octet just to simplify
5  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-218 / Maximum Number of Network on: January 15, 2004, 01:30:12 PM
now the client side subnet mask 224 max 256 you get 32 (this was a short cut i learned from the leimle book) now your clients will be 127.32.000 not used thi is the network id 127.33 through 127.62 are your network id 127.63 is your broadcast next network 127.64 network id 127.65 through 127.94 network 127.95 broadcast and so on notice how you lose 2 addresses (-2 in the formula)
I am a little rusty in this but this is the jist. put these in binary format and you will realize how it works.
Again i am little rusty and not a teacher i can visualize this and i know its correct.
6  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-218 / Maximum Number of Network on: January 15, 2004, 01:19:29 PM
this got confusing
are you trying to find the max number of networks using 255.000.000.
simply if you have subnet 255.000.000 you can have 2^16-2 networks, now lets say  you need to add 5 subnets to your class a subnet then you go and 2^n-2>5  so you will need 3 bits 255.224.000 will be your new subnet.
I have a decent grasp on subnetting, thanks to cisco if you really need to understand this try tom leomle(not sure of the spelling) book on CCNA

14  Cisco / CCNA / CCNA BrainDumps? on: August 26, 2002, 03:09:30 PM
I finally passed ccna.
If you want to pass you need to know the network (ip,the 7 layer, routers switches, hubs, cables, etc) trying to memorize questions will not help.
I have taking plenty of tests in the past and this one is one of the hardest, this measures 2 things, real knowledge and logical thinking....
brain-dumps are useless here..
