Spamming our forums is against our terms of service. If you feel the need to advertise you can always contact me. I'm not sure that pink shoes of any kind would do well here...but then again, you just never know now do you?

actually a few. I own a fantasy sports website and I use Odesk. Sometimes I'll take the cheap guys, but my biggest indicator is their ranking.

Besides, in a pinch, 15-20 bucks an hour is better than digging ditches. And if you build your rep you can charge more.

Odesk is probably the biggest, then guru.com then rentacoder. Best to focus on one as each has a reputation component that as you prove reliable gives you higher ranking and more work offers

While this is true the "online job" market is rife with scams.  Most rarely help people and just take their money.

The other problem is people will determine that certain jobs are beneath them.  When times are tough you need to do whatever it takes.

I tried selling my body once...didn't work so well. At least I tried

Isn't PirateBay under intense scrutiny by several nation's law enforcement agencies because of pirated software etc though?

I think there will always be an underground of piracy. It goes back to the dawn of humanity.  There will likely never be a true winner or loser

The dollars may be less valuable but they aren't getting any more of them, and often they are getting less. The fed printing money is part of the problem with fiat currencies, and when it gets out of hand can cause runaway inflation like that seen in Mexico and South America. That would be VERY bad for debtors, for everyone for that matter, because suddenly you'll be buying a lot less for a lot more of those even lower value dollars

24  General discussions / General Discussion / Which is better XP or Vista? on: June 23, 2009, 11:00:58 AM
No it doesn't. Microsoft is massively motivated (nice aliteration eh?)to do whatever it takes to get Windows 7 into the enterprise, and from what I've heard its a lot more stable and friendly than Vista
25  CompTIA / A+ forum / Anyone still taking the cert these days? on: June 23, 2009, 10:59:22 AM
The military usually "encourages" all its IT people to get the A+ and Net+. If you work in any level of security the have a thing called the 8570.1 which requires certifications at several levels, starting with Security+ all the way to CISSP.
