1  General discussions / General Discussion / How much does one have to know to get a entry level job? on: March 11, 2007, 11:02:26 PM
I hope you have better luck than me. Im getting ready to graduate with a degree in info technology, also im about to finish up my fourth quarter of cisco-net academy. I have a+, net+, 3 mcp's, and MOS. I have gone to all computer places around here and asked them to let me gain experience. I would work for free. Just to gain experience, so when i graduated i would have some. Every company shot me down. I couldnt believe they would not let someone work for free. I know i dont smell, so i have no clue what their problem was. anyway good luck

I would go with the sybex. I just got through reading it. Very VEry thorough. I dont know about that other book. I had alread read two other cram books. They were good but not for the type of exams microsux gives. I also just went through the CBT nuggets video for win xp . I was blown away. I always thought these video things were stupid , for lack of a better word. It was excellent. very informative and the guy did everything on the window xp computer screen. It was close up and easier to understand. anyway the sybex if thats all you can get.It goes through everything, and i mean everything. later
