Is there anyway that I can make my default command Window a bit lager? Win I type "cmd" in the Run box on winxp, I finmd the default size a little too small for my liking. Is there a place in the registry or somewhere where I can change this?

No, they are different operating systems, but they look and work very much alike (excepting kernel internals and stuff like that).

May I suggest a team of racing horses? Could create lots of new jobs for people as pooper scoopers.

Sorry, being silly, but if you take 50 minutes to drive to work, I'd hate to see your gas bill. Diesel still seems a good alternative as it goes a lot farther.

I beg to differ. My sole means of transportation for years has been my bike, and I manage in a city built for cars.

14  General discussions / General Discussion / at what price should i tell customers that a new pc is a better option on: August 30, 2005, 05:21:03 PM
I hate to be pessimistic, but this has been happening to me too. You can get a dell Desktop for $299 + shipping. This makes it hard to compete since a computer several years old are so much more outdated than newer ones. That makes jobs like mine (freelance repair) much harder. I will usually tell them that if they need to spend more than 200 bucks on a repair that I can't take their money without first letting them know a new low-end computer would make a better deal.
