Hey Grundyman,

I've got my new forums up and running at BestTests.com. Stop on by and say HI!
2  CompTIA / A+ forum / Onward to Operating Systems !!!>>>>>>>>> on: August 08, 2005, 09:53:58 PM
Congrats on your pass!

If you are not familiar with any of the OS's on the test you should seriously get a copy and play around with it.

My advice to you.
3  CompTIA / A+ forum / BIOS chip FRU..? on: August 08, 2005, 09:50:37 PM
BIOS chips can be FRUs on older legacy boards.  The usually sit in a socket, so put that hot, pointy thing away before you hurt somebody! Cheesy

Here is some good advice, if you don't like the advertising then leave EN or don't click on the ads. The less amount of traffic EN gets, the less likely the dumpers will patronize it. Nuff said.

6  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-217 / enforce client computers "Log Off" on: July 26, 2005, 01:24:43 AM
You can also simply power fail the computers by simply pulling the plug or holding down the power button for 10+ seconds.
7  General discussions / General Discussion / Roaming Profile on: July 26, 2005, 01:20:46 AM
Keep in mind that with a roaming profile, it is cached for each and every user locally so if your company has has, for an example, 200+ employees then hopefully you have large hard drives in your workstations and your workstations can handle the load.

I suggest either Mandatory profiles or Outlook Web Access.
