6  General discussions / Hardware / cmos checksum error - default loaded on: September 23, 2005, 01:53:34 AM
Hi
My computer(motherboard) is now new. I have changed the BIOS battery.... now I always see the message below, whenever I'm starting my computer:

cmos checksum error - default loaded

Press F1 to continue, press Del to enter to setup

it doesn't allow me to boot using floppy, CD, etc..

while I'm pressing DEL I will see CMOS Setup... I was changing some options (first boot device, second boot device...) but after rebooting I will see that nothing have been changed.

Please help me what should I do?

Thanks

What is the feature of Intel Pro Trunking nic? if I use it, will I got the result of:
1- there should be NO sharing and connecting between these rooms together.
2- All PCs (clients) from different subnet have access to all servers (DHCP, DNS...) and also can access to FTP Server for just downloading data.

What if I use layer 3 switch with support VLAN? which is better and soutable?

Thanks
