1  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-210 / Looking for Ruscorp or Spid for help!! on: April 06, 2006, 04:30:49 PM
Guys,

I am not sure if the long-timers here remember me...but i use to frequent this site especially in the MCSE track forum 1-2 years ago.. I am already certified as MCSE 2000 now.

But what i want to know is, to find the frequent forum contributor that befriended me, who works in Phoenix / Arizona. I am not sure whether his name is Spid, Ruscorp or something else. However, he is one of the high ranking contributor..Whoever you are pls email me at localpcguy@gmail.com

I am working in Mesa, AZ after moving here from Austin, TX last year. I like to get in contact again.

Regards,
Steven Kok

6  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-219 / i paased 217 today and started to study for 219 right away.. on: November 09, 2004, 05:14:36 PM
I took the 217 exam today 9:30am (Central time) My score was 800/1000 with 700 passing score. Not very excited but should be happy with what i got. From the test a lot of DNS and other AD questions. From my reuslt feedback MS told me i need to work on "Troubleshoot DNS for active directory" and "Implement &TB Group Policy", the rest is strong and ok. aah well, i guess need to work on those mentioned.

So far i passed about 6 exams in this order. 210,215,218,216,221,217. I should be certified as "MCSE" when i pass one more next month 70-219. So to answer one of your question there are a few more fellas like me studying 219..hope its not that carzy stuff..hope to be ready in 2-3 weeks time..until then keep in touch..
7  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-217 / Here are my 217 result.. on: November 09, 2004, 04:41:00 PM
Ok folks are you ready for the result of my 70-217. Got there 10 min before 9:30am (Central time) due to heavy morning traffic. Sat down and take a deep breathe. Found out there are 43 Questions and about 2 hours. Finish the exam with about 48 min left. Felt good and click the "End Exam" button. Mind you this is my 10 exam taken under prometric and still have the "goose bums" whenever i need to click the find out reuslt button.

Folks,

Its been a crazy 2.5 month trying to juggle work, family and 217 prep exam. I will try to attempt exam 217 on Monday or Tuesday this week. Not sure which of the two days yet but will try to refresh and wrap up this tonight (sunday) to see how much i am ready. I feel i am about 80% ready.

Anyone knows the time limit for the exam. I know they will have 40-43 questions. This will be my 6th exam...two more to go 217 and 219..Wish me luck guys..will inform you what happen..

Same here..I have a job now but still required to take the MCSE ..currently preparing to take 70-217 and next will be 70-219 to get my MCSE 2000. Wish you all the best..
12  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-217 / passed 70-221 two days ago..preapring 217 on: June 10, 2004, 03:02:50 PM
Folks,

This will be my new home as i am preparing 217 to take it next month. So far I need two more exams before being MCSE 2000. I passed 70-221 two days ago..a lot of case study.

I look forward to talking to all of you later..
13  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-216 / i passed 70-221 after 70-216 on: June 09, 2004, 01:58:59 PM
Folks,

I am back again after a few weeks in exile. you all must be wondering why i am bringing up 70-221 here. Well i passed 70-216 (to get my MCSA) about a month ago and decided to go for 70-217 next.

However, Jeff-Black, Spid and Jocampo advised me to go ahead to take 70-221 instead as it is more closely related to each other. I passed it yesterday with a score of 811/1000, with a passing score of 700. I wish i could do better buy hey a pass is enough. FOr some reason i thought the passing score is usually lower for 70-221 around 600-500. i might be wrong or MS must have increase the passing score.

Anyhow, thank you all for your support..onwards to 217 and 219 next to get my MCSE 2000. Later, guys..
14  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-216 / never mind folks.. on: April 20, 2004, 11:20:15 AM
never mind folks..i found the answer.

you actually have to log-in to the MCSA member website and initiate the welcome kit activation..I did that, just as i activate my previous MCP kit..

I went over to the E-store and bought a couple of stuff..toy,polo-shirt and t-shirt..I even got one for my boss...brown nose points!  there you go..
15  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-216 / MCSA, i am !!! Question ? on: April 20, 2004, 10:57:19 AM
Its nice to finally become a MCSA. Does anyone out there knows if we will receive a MCSA welcome kit or do we have to registered again on the MCSA member site.. Any suggestions and ideas will be useful..

Just thought that i would like to share my passing summary so far..
