There are no restrictions (That I know of right now) A temp workaround was to remove the licenses on the workstations using a .bat file, for now everything seems cool...
5  General discussions / General Discussion / Terminal Server on: October 18, 2004, 10:52:36 PM
After I connect once to my W2K Terminal Server, I login, use the app i need to, then log off. If I try to connect again from the same system, it will not connect... but if I go to a diff machine, the same thing happens, I can logon once, but as soon as I log off, I can no longer connect... Anyone hear of a messed up situation like this before?
6  General discussions / General Discussion / FTP Server on: October 04, 2004, 08:08:06 PM
Hi all, anyone know of a FTP Server that supports Day/Time restrictions?

Another feature I would like with the server is to have bandwidth restrictions with the day/time restrictions..

Example: 10AM-5PM All users can login, full bandwidth

5PM - 12:00 Selected users can login and get 100Kbs...

etc. I doubt any of them support this, but its worth asking Cheesy

PS the server would need to run on my Windows Server (2k or 2k3)
7  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-216 / WorkGroup/Domain question! on: September 28, 2004, 02:45:53 PM
Windows XP Home edition can not be joined to any domain. You will need to upgrade it to Professional.

If you want to give them access to the internet by them supplying usernames and passwords, you can install a proxy server such as ISA server to authenticate the users.

Well I took the 70-216 10 days ago, and wanted to finish this one up fast while I had the material fresh in my head. So I took the 70-221 today at 1PM, took me 1:15 to finish, ended up with an 857.

I had 4 cases, 40 questions total.

On to 70-217

14  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-216 / The Newest MCSA on: August 10, 2004, 02:55:41 PM
Well I finally took the test, Passed 1st try with an 805. I took it at Prometric, had 50 questions, I was very lucky. I had none of those long RRAS questions (the you want this, you did that type)

I had about 4 or 5 Certficates questions, a lot of DNS and DHCP, WINS and a good amount of RRAS.

Well next I assume I will take 70-217..

I used Microsoft Press, Sybex and Exam Cram 2 for studying.

15  Microsoft (MCSE, MCSD, MOUS, MCAD) / 70-215 / Pass with 895 on: August 07, 2004, 01:33:53 AM
