What is the marketable value of a Master of Science degree in Information Technolgy or Infomation Science? My background: I am Network+ certified and A+ certified and have a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in the Science field. I have worked with computers (basic software/hardware troubleshooting)for the last few years and in the last year took several undergraduate courses in computer science. My work will only pay for additional courses if it leads to a degree. Since, I already have a Master's degree, I am reluctant to pursue anyting but at least a Master's degree. Please give me advice regarding the marketability of a Master of Science in Information Science/Information Technology degree. I will have to pursue the internet/long distance learning option so if anyone knows about any specific programs that are superior, please let me know.

Contrary to what a lot of people may think, a Masters degree will go a LONG way. It says that you have had a formal education so-to-speak. It is also good to have if you ever want to advance your career.
Sounds like you have a good thing going if your employer is going to help you. Go for it!
Good Luck:-)

Some schools also offer combined Masters programs, you could take few more classes & get 2 masters or 1 master with 2 emphasizes, if you would like.
For instance, some school offers combined MBA/ MSCS, some offers MS Telecommunication / Client Server or End User Support, etc.
Make sure some of your classes could get credit in some programs if you already have a Master in Science. Good luck!
