This test had 15 questions on it. Adaptive. I thought I flunked when it ended at 15 but I knew I had quite a few right. Questions were on commands, definitions, and print servers, new and old stlye. The test just ends suddenly. There is a new test for service and support 50-658 for those inclined. I missed the free beta exam on it couple of weeks back. That was 112 questions but free. Ahwell..

The Exam I took was the 50-635 listed in the title. It is the current one, not listed yet on the doomed list, but I bet with that new one nipping at its heals it woun't be too long. Anyhow the book I used was the Study Guide for CNE Netware 5. Came as a set with the CNA study guide. The book makes you out to be a Netware Doctor, kinda lame but the Netware info is there, along with all sorts of health news.. oh yea, you take the Hippocratic oath too. Exam Essentials I used for practice. Questions were VERY close to exam questions.

The S & S exam can be trying. You may get a
question or 2 on the Microhouse Technical Library and be expected to identify certain aspects of a network board. I recommend calling ahead to your testing center to confirm that they have the Microhouse disk, otherwise you will NOT be able to pass those
questions. When I took my test, the testing center did not have the disk and I missed the questions I had. I still passed the exam because I answered everything else correctly.
There is a demo version of MTL that comes with the CNE5 book by Clarke. However, Clarke does not include an unlock code for MTL. You have to go to the support source site and submit a quick registration form.
The problem here is that you may not get a rapid reply on the unlock code, if you get a reply at all. I'm still waiting.
