i am now studying up for Design and Implementation -- 1 of my final 2 tests for CNE. i'd like to hear some input from you people who have passed it. what are your thoughts about it... any surprises?

When I took the D & I test it was for NetWare 4.11, but it shouldn't be much different, if at all, from 5.x. The main thing you should know is replica placement. And Novell's rules on replica placement, i.e. 1 master, 2 read/writes. On my test, which was adaptive, I had 16 questions. I would say about 8 or 9 were on replica placement. Also, know timesync. I studied replica placement in all of my free time and I killed that test. Hope this helps.
