Why take the newest exam, i suggest to all seeking CNA take 639 before Aug 31 (retired date) the exam is going to be retired but it will still count toward CNA and CNE, Novell told me them selves. There is a lot more material ie. (braindumps, exam guides, and books) for 639.

Novell told me that when an exam is retired it will only count 6 more months for credit if trying for CNE. That means pass it and yes your CNA but, if going for CNE and do not finish before 6 months you'll need to retake a newer exam that one will no longer count. That applies to all retired Novell exams. Right now for CNA there are three versions offered. 639 is out the door VERY soon.
