It's not that this forum is not populat, it's just that there are not many people interested in the Novell certification these days.
If you look in our A+, Network+ forums you will see over 20-30 new posts every day.

Yes, MCSE is the hot certification and most want to get it. But, because of this, it has caused a major CNE drought across the USA. Novell and their academic partners cannot certify enough CNEs to meet the demand. My instructors and the institution at which I studied received desperate requests from employers in the Northeast for CNE candidates weeks before the last course was completed. I was discouraged at first thinking I should get the MCSE "because everyone else" is. But not now.

In a effort to get things going......
Ok my company is sending me on the CNA5 course, and understanding, i think, comes from an exhange of ideas & questions. So have u guys, and my unhappy friend Ravi, got any questions u would like me to ask while i am on the course?
one burning Q per person, or am going to look like a arse when I come up with 248 questions about admin.ing netware 5 at the end of the day. (starts Mon, 5days)
Esp. for Ravi = On books, gone for Novell's CNA5 Study Guide by David J Clarke covering the new objectives of course 560 (Ed 1999)and Exam cram.
If u guys are up for it we could share the costs of self testing software, via the world of the copy process!?!
Anyway this is my effort to add to the magic of netware!

Best Regards
David

Thanks David, I am preparing for CNA. Bought the CNA study guide for Netware 5 by David (your friend) James Clarke, IV. I haven't started yet as I am busy in studying CCNA. I would start soon. I am not sure whether this book covers 639 or 645. I assume it is for 639. I want to do 639 only (as I see lot of info for this).
Let me know if you know good studu guides/braindump site for this.
Regards,
Ravi, MCSE,A+
