Getting your CNA is very easy. I used a program called Exam Essentials and studied the practice tests. I had seen all 15 questions I got on the Netware 5.0 admin exam straight from Exam Essentials. It was the easiest test I have ever taken.

Exam Essentials is a free download from http://www.certify.com. there are free practice questions but you will get LOTS more if you register the tests.

also, http://www.selftestsoftware.com does some good tests.

good luck.

Hey what was your passing score and how many questions did you have?

Is that was the only thing you use and did you have any prior experience?

Sorry, I have been out of the loop for a while. I am studing to take the CCNA. Yes the full ordered version of each test will guarantee a passing score. All you will need is the practice exams on all of the tests except Netware 5 advanced exam. I have talked to coworkers who say that test is really hard, alot of simulations.Later

in comparing Exam Essentials to Self Test, the questions seem to be worded more closely to the actual tests in Exam Ess. the Self Test software helps you understand the concepts better by using different wording. Also, while the "simulations" are very lame in Exam Ess, they are very good in Self Test -- there's actually a NWAdmin and NDSAdmin emulator built in and you REALLY perform the tasks! I purchased Self Test for Admin, Adv Admin and Design and Imp. Really like it for the sims.

i don't remember my scores but i know i did better on Adv Admin than on Admin. go figure... i haven't taken Design and Imp. yet... that's after Integ. NT and NDS. and i got a 95% on Net+ to waive the Networking Technologies test.

i need to get off my butt and finish up this CNE!!!

oh, i have been working as a Network Admin for over 2 years now. also, i got my hands on some cheap computers that can handle NetWare 5 (and i have an NT4 server and worstation). this is SOOOOO helpful.

hi, chunder

Many thanks for the advice, it seem that both the selftest & examEss are worth it, shame no one had combined the two!

NT man really but a new job has created a need for Netware skills and I need to be a netware guy too now! Already have a network at home, V V helpful! i know!

Again thanks!
Best Regards
David
