Ok now i am a CCNP and also a CCDA.
The CIT exam was a good one. it did have some thought provoking/misleading questions.
In my opinion one should be fine with the Ciscopress certification book by Amir Rnajbar but would do well to understand concepts from The CIT book by Laura Chapell.
Yes ISDN plays an important role in the exam.

Now for the CCDA. I never read the pdf file of the book given by a friend. I was just too concerned about getting the CCNP.
I planned to take the test more as a challenge since i had already studied the underlying technologies. What i did read were ...the diff steps in creating a prototype/pilot and diff parts of the design document. Thats all.
The test is a joke. The Case studies were so boring and contained material that nearly turned it idiotic.
Just concentrate on the basics and answer what they ask you. I Repeat... answer what they want to know.

Now two things dog me....
1. Do i concentrate on CID?
2. How do I start my CCIE written prep?

Anyone with sincere suggestions pls suggest.

regards
mongol

Cool

Congrats, mongol! I always enjoy your informative (and often hillarious) posts. Your real life scenarios in the CCNP forum make for great study material.

I'm glad to see you're pressing forward. I hope to follow you along the same path soon.

Cheers,

Skip

Golgi, you are too funny!

Or to put in proper English, you are quite the comedian, old chap.

Cheers,

Hi Skip

thanks, humour don't always travel well. A bit too much time on my hands today. With my CCNA exam this morning i left the afternoon to free. Did not want too heavy a day in case i failed. I passed so now i'm just sitting here grinning and thinking about all the work i put of till tommorow.
