Could someone straighten me out?
I'm having trouble with the difference between local computer policy and the group policy. Could someone clue me in on the difference between the 2. Thanks much.

I hope I don't sound to ignorant by asking but I keep getting the 2 confused on the practice exams. Either I studied wrong or they word the questions really weird.

local policy is the policy(rules for a specific users) for that machine locally. It doesn't follow the user around the network, only where the machine has that local policy set. Group policy is a policy that an administrator placed a user into a group and set a policy for that group instead of an individual policy. Now that policy follows that user where ever the user logs onto in the network. (any machine)I hope that made sense.
