Question How old were you when you got CCDA or CCDP?

I was reading a sybex book and the author mentioned a 10 year old who was CCDP... I was little shocked...

SO I'm wondering how old were you when you got CCDA and/or CCDP?

Me.. CCDP at 22. CCDA at 21

Hmmm, a 10 year old ehhh? What would a 10yr old do with a CCDA? My little brother is 9 and I couldn't see him having any use for even learning anythign about the CCDA. I mean shouldn't 10yr olds be out getting drunk and getting laid?

10 year ols are too smart...

Anyway I was 22 when I got my CCNA and CCDA and CCNP, then I turned 23 and got my CCDP. I am going for my CCIE and tke the lab this may and that will put me at 24 when I achieve that goal.

And how much real-world experience (vs book-knowledge) did you rely on to pass those tests?

I'm in the same boat, Justin!

I've been working with Cisco routers since IOS release 9, back when there was only a CCIE. I got the CCNA and CCDA when there was no recertification requirement, then shifted to a "Management" track. Now I'm back in the technical swing of things...

CCNA 31
CCDA 31
CCNP 35
CCDP 35
