How to prepare for MCDBA?
Hi
I'm just starting out on an mcdba myself. After a little
bit of research all I can suggest in addition to what's
been said is that you study 215 before 228, simply because
of a warning in microsoft's own literature that recommends
that you have 2k server knowledge before starting sql
admin. I am going to study 229 first however (then
215,228) simply because that's where my experience lies
and I want to get to know the exam procedure before I
tackle an exam where I have limited experience.
I reckon the recommendation to study 229 first is only
based on the assumption that you start the course coming
from a sql background. With your background I'd suggest
the foxpro if that's the module you wish to study for the
same reason as myself. If you don't do that, then study
the sql design - if you understand relational concepts you
should be all right.
