answer CCDA questions??

hello,
What do you think about these questions?
1)What is the purpose of the apple talk AARP protocol?
A. To update apple talk routing tables.
B. To map networks or nodes to zones.
C. To test for remote node availability.
D. To map Apple Talk addresses to physical addresses.
(I think D??)
2)How does the spanning-tree protocol prevent bridging loops?
A. It disables all ports on bridges that could create loops.
B. It selectively disables bridge ports that could create loops.
C. It clears the bridge table on the bridges that could create loops.
D. It blocks access to the bridge table on bridges that could create loops.
(I think A???)

If your legitimately studying for the exam... You should be able to figure out the correct answer on your own...

The problem here is that people just want to pass the exam. Many people who take the exams thinking that it will lead to a job... are sadly mistaken. The value of a cert has depreciated considerably while the value of hands on experience has grown exponentially.

I for one got a job, before my CCNA and CCDA because I had worked as a network analyst. I know for a fact my employer passed up CCNPs and CCDPs to hire me instead.

If you "think" you know the answer why dont you explain WHY you think thats the answer... Also there are plenty of resource to find the correct answers to your questions. You just have to use common sense and look for them.

Hello,

I am really shocked that because of 2-3 absurd questions, you and babu75 discuss my knowledge base. I asked these questions, because I believed that I studied very hard,so that, for these stupid questions, I don't want to waste my money. For example, can you explain me who is interested in Appletalk, nowadays. So I don't know AppleTalk very well, do I deserve your accusations? And also, because English is not my first language that I speak, sometimes it is difficult to translate and understand what question means. So I ask them. Believe me that I work for a system entegrator firm so I' ve installed VLANs with Cisco.
I believe that forums are just knowlegde-sharing platforms. So I've asked these questions. If you think I am guilty...What can I say?
I write your answer because you are kind not like babu75

My explanation is that
1)I think D because, Appletalk Address Resolution Protocol..I think it' s like IP ARP.
2)May be A or B.When you think A, it is like STP always block port. But when main link is down, blocked port gets forwarding mode.So B may be answer.

moschino!!!

now, it was not my intention to be mean or rude. however, posting braindump.. in the pretext of learning or exchanging ideas defeats the purpose of this forum!!!

once again your questions are well explained in the DCN book. for instance on page 27 of the DCN;

"AARP-associates AppleTalk network addresses with hardware addresses"

on page 227 of the DCN, Generic Traffic Shaping and how it eliminates bottleneck by throttling back traffic is well explained.
the last sentence of the second paragraph exactly answers your question, and there is a diagram that illustrates how it works.

on page 13 of the DCN, it explains how STP works.

now, i hope you understand what i meant by reading and grasping the course content.
please stay away from braindumps...
