Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has seen the new Third edition of Internetworking Technologies Handbook yet? If so, do you think it is worth investing in it if you have the second edition.
I was told by someone that there are some significant improvements/updates in there.
Since it seems to be a good reference manual etc. I thought it might be a good idea to have the latest and greatest. Thanks once again. You people on here really are one of the best study/support groups that I have seen.
As soon as I officially begin my studies, I am sure that I will be more involved.
Oh Deets: If you happen to repond to this one, what are the chapters that you said you would focus on in Internetworking Technologies were you to do it again? I think that you said you wouldn't read the entire book. Just curious. Thanks all!

Hi LanMan,
I only have the 2nd edition, unfortunately. If I were beginning now, I'd read Part 1 (Chapters 1-6), then skim through the rest. It's an excellent reference book.
Cheers,
Deets

Hi Deets,
Thanks for the reply. Well, I hope that all is well with you from down under! Okay, I agree that it is a good reference.
I heard that the Third edition is even better. Maybe I will just have to take a trip to the local bookstore and check it out. I know that they added a few chapters to cover something more thoroughly, but not sure what.
Maybe I can check Cisco's web site or Amazon etc. for a description too.
Thanks for the response!
