Is there 'Partial Credit' for multiple answer quest's?

Just about ready for my 70-215 exam, waited too darn long after 70-210, so it took a looong time of studying to get on track. Anyway, I forgot whether or not MS gives partial credit for questions that require more than 1 answer ( ie 'Choose All That Apply" or 'Select 2 Options", etc)

Thanks in advance for the replies ( i hope )

David

A computer grades the test, not a human. There is not such thing as partial credit. You're either right or wrong.

This has been discussed before recently. A couple of people said that there is partial credit, but then again who really knows? I was under the impression that it was either all right or all wrong.

Absolutely.....NOT

In a multiple Choice Question, you could then check all 4 instead of the required 3 and still get credit?

come on...

Good point and it makes sense. I guess if you didn't know the answer and it was 'choose all that apply' you could just check them all and get partial credit like you said.

I think what you are looking at for partial credit is where you tick 2 out of four answers where 3 was required and the 2 you checked were correct. obviously if you checked any wrong answers then you would get zero points. I think you should get points for any correct ones as long as you didn't get any wrong, However I go along with the consensus and say that if you don't get it all right you get nowt.

Talking

I've always believed the answer to be no.

A former Calc Professor of mine stated the following when a student asked him about partial credit...

Suppose you build a bridge, bridge fall down, many people die. You ask for partial credit?

Actually........ I read on MS site than in fact, you CAN receive partial points for multiple answer questions, although you can be deducted points for incorrect answers. MS continues to say that you the least amount of points you can get it 0 points (saying you cant get negative points for answering all incorrect questions...
