Re: C++.NET Exam
So, there's been curiosity and speculation on this board
as to whether there would be a Managed C++.NET component
to the MCSD.NET cert. There hasn't been, to my knowledge,
any verification, either on MS's Train/Cert. site nor on
this board (particularly from any of the MS folks), of a
new C++ exam. And actually since the most recent thread
regarding this was this week, I thought somebody on here
might be interested in this related bit.

Re: C++.NET Exam
Mmm....good point. It doesn't indicate on that page when
it was last updated. But if you notice the
anticipated "live" dates of the three C# exams (June and
Sept of *2003* - only a year off!), my guess is that you
are correct - that this page hasn't been updated to be in
sync with the actual training and certification plans.
My bad.

Re: C++.NET Exam
I think that my answer was a bit unpolite, but wasn't my intention...
Sorry...
Anyway, on the MCSD FAQ Microsoft says that plans about exams based on C++
and J# are expected to be released soon after the release of Visual Studio
..NET 2003...

Paulo

Re: C++.NET Exam
Is there a good book on Managed C++ ??
I would like to read about how exactly the Managed C++ is different from C++
in VS6.
I have a lot of experience with C# and the old C++ in visual studio 6 but
would like to exploit the new features of Managed C++.
Thanks,
Glenn
