If you try to use a domain controller for a router, your brain will tilt, at least, mine does.

maybe its because srv records get duplicated with different dc ip#'s that causes replication trouble, maybe sysvol gets confused, but problems seems to crop up as soon as I try to do that.

i have cable that i can connect to my video card, but i has the feature to have blended windows, so i have the game on the background and keep on doing my work , is very cool to do that, also i have a 19" monitor so it looks great, my team Real Madrid is playing great but atletico is very hard team.

One thing you can do with dual-homed domain controllers, it to specify which network interface registers with WINS and DNS. That way your DC can route, but will only advertise the SRV service on the specified interface. As long as your router is configured correctly, hosts on the other interface will still be able to access the domain. Otherwise, I think the interface that is first in order of PCI slots, registers it's info and that mey cause the issues.

Hi Jeff

would that be done in the Advanced TCP/IP Settings dialogue box, under the dns and wins tabs, by pointing them at specific (different, or none at all) servers?

Microsoft recommend do not use DC and WINS Servers as a dual boot machine.
