1: C. Any time you set up a dialup connection on a computer, you will notice that the PPP protocol is the one being used.
2: B. SETVER is used to "trick" an application into thinking you have a certain version of DOS, because sometimes the application won't run if it thinks you have an incompatible OS.
3: C. 127.0.0.1 is the classic loopback address, it's also the address you're using when you "ping localhost".
