Departing MCSE/MCDBA/MCNGP quest (for now)

After much reflection (but no failed tests), I have decided that the job
market for MCSE's is a little oversaturated right now. In accordance
with supply and demand, I will vacate the market and pursue other goals
until the market improves.

I've enjoyed my time here, and I'd like to thank a few folks in the
newsgroup.

Laura Robinson: At first I thought you were a true nit picker with a
chip on your shoulder. I've come to respect you as one of the most
knowledgeable people I know. The title of "tech" or "geek" isn't
enough for you.

Frisbee: There's always time for things other than tech, and you embody
that concept in all the best ways.

Team MCNGP: I'm not worthy. Damn, I wanted to be. ;-)

To "Michael", who told us back in October that "Anyone can pass a
test".... thanks for a great troll, and an interesting spirited debate.

To Microsoft: Phooey on you for booting the MCNGP founders. I leave
this forum in sadness that it is not nearly as interesting now as when I
first arrived.

----

As to myself, now that I've sold my company, I'm off to develop the next
great widget and mousetrap, after I move to Pennsylvania.

It was fun!

Hang in Jeff.
Why not participate while you pursue other opportunities ??
In any event, I will sadly miss you.

Laura simply suffers from the occaisional PMS (Puttin' up with Men's =

Very kind words, thank you.

Actually you are quite worthy. We just have quotas and all. Are you =
Eskimo by any chance? We really need an Eskimo to round things out a =

That definitely was a classic, and a good reason to stay in the group =

I'm not so sure it was MS, and the founders were not really "booted." =
Someone just really had a huge chip on their shoulder was all.

Take me with you. I miss birch beer and ring bologna. And cheese =
steaks. I once ordered a cheese steak down here in the south and I got =
an order of cheese sticks. Same thing, right? I don't miss the snow, =
though. =20

You can depart the quest but still participate in the newsgroup.
