Hunh, all those certs??
Thats a mighty large number of certs for asking questions about cables. CCDA should have burned that into your forehead.

I don't recall the CCDA material discussing winchester connector pinouts. Maybe I forgot that section
I've never really worked much with cabling. This might be basic stuff for someone who has, but then a lot of the things that I consider basic as a Unix admin would be foreign to the typical CCNA/CCDA. It depends on your experience. Both areas are outside the CCNA/CCDA ciriculum.

Oops, sorry
That sounded wrong, was supossed to be joking in tone. Anyhow, just so few people taking the CCDA these days since it is probably one of the hardest ones. They didn't really hit cables on the test too hard but in the book, they had virtually every different cable type in there. I just remebered memorizing all of them since I had no idea what they would ask on the test.

No problem. I honestly don't remember ANY material on cabling. That must mean that that section was either really easy and I blew it off or really hard and I repressed that memory...kinda like BGP
I actually thought the CCDA was a lot easier then the CCNA. Then again, with me concepts stick right away and commands have to be hammered in over and over. The CCDA exam was almost pure concepts.
