Deleting to Trash Bin and not Completely

In Windows all the files I've deleted went to Recycle Bin. In Linux
Mandrake(KDE) when I press 'Del' key file moves to the Trash Bin. But in
some programs even when I press 'Del' files are immediatelly gone from
system(as if I pressed shift+del). Is there a way to customize my system
so that all deleted files first go to trash bin and aren't immediatelly
gone.

PS: The program which deletes all my files immediatelly is GQView. If there
is some way to customize so that it sends my files to Trash Bin instead of
deleting them I would like very much to hear about it.

Thank you very much in advance.

Not to insult you or be rude or anything, but you'd better get used to
it. When you erase something, it's gone - and that's true for most
Linux/UNIX apps.

GQView remembers the last directory where you "Move..."ed your files
to. You could move files to KDE's trashbin directory, and use "Move..."
instead of the del-key.
