took my ccna exam and failed it today, i was hitting 98% on the ccna study
guide exams, 930 on transcender exams, around 90% on the flash card exams,
and yet when i got to the exam there where questions i did not think woud
appear, like the colour codes for different cables, straigh thru etc, any1
have any good tips for rememebring these would be helpful, also subnetting
was a big thing, i think it was a weakness of mine, the routing was easy the
sims where easy got 100% on routing 80 on others wan protocols was low, yet
i thought i knew the main concepts behind frame relay, isdn, etc

i feel on another day a different generated exam i would have passed, but
hey im gona study the weak areas i have found and do it again as soon as
possible, i didnt do too badly 10%!!! of passing

Hello!
I did the exam this morning and i pass the exam with 924

I was prepared only with PDF guides and with BOSON Test. In BOSON test i
had similar points (between 88 and 95)

The questions in Boson are very similar to CCNA official exam.

I think Boson is the best method to prepare this exam.

Do not feel discouraged, they are only exams. There is more to life then
cisco

Do like you said, study your weak areas and you'll do just fine.

I'm due to my CCNA and I am trying to learn everything.

Including colour codes of wires.

My weakness is SPX/IPX.

Subnetting is a piece of cake. The more the better. Anything that you have
to work out should be good.

On one practice Test I saw a Supernetting problem, which freaked me out
since I thought it was part of the CCNP.
