I work for an educational institution and conduct on line tests often. On one such occation we forgot the inform the network administrator about a forthcoming test. On the test day all the students were working on the test paper and suddenly the server is down!!! We rushed to the server room and informed the Admin and he switched on the server with a small delay. To our great relief the test could be continued by all just from the point where the server went down without any loss of time!!!

These kind of faults are normally taken care by the software. We were using WebCT for our online courses.
