What do you think about exam 70-229, is it hard, are there harder
exams?
(I ask this because I'm MCP with this one)

I felt it was actually easier than 70-228. If you have any experience
building SQL databases, and have already done 228 before, you
shouldn't have trouble. I can't say I would recommend this for your
first Microsoft test. You might want to start out with something like
server (70-215). Also remember that you only need four tests total
for MCDBA, so pick well.

actually I have already passed 70-229: my question is if
70-229 is a medium-level exam, a simple one or whatever in comparison
with the average of all MS exams.

I would say it is about average. Not the hardest I took (70-216) and
not the easiest (70-218). If you passed it, you will be able to
handle any of the others for an MCDBA with some study and practice.
