Treat it as a class C address for purposes of subnetting.

256-192=64

Subnet addresses: 64, 128, 192

The subnet is: 128
Broadcast address: 191
Host range: 172.16.2.129-172.16.2.190

How did you come up with the "192" in the "256-192" problem?

Thanks.

256-192=64

Subnet addresses: 64, 128

This part is right. But you didn't break down the subnets and broadcasts.

64 Network Address
65 First user(host address)
126 Last user(host address)
127 Broadcast address

This is Class C

Cont. from above post.

128 Network address
129 First user(host address)
190 Last user(host address)
191 Broadcast address

This is the proper way of breaking down a Class C structure.

Mix, I'm confused. I don't see where rore is wrong. Broadcast=191 first subnet=128 first host=129 last host=190. Same thing you came up with I thought.
