switching/using linux
I'm a windows user who is considering switching to linux. I've heard that
you can have both windows and linux on a computer. I was wondering which
"version" of linux can be recomended? I know there is Mandrake and RedHat
out there, but I don't know what to go with. Please send replies to me via
email.

Check http://www.distrowatch.org/ - I recommend you take a serious look
at Debian as well (my personal favourite)

Nope! Check http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1855.html - You ask a question
to the community, and the answer shall be given back to the community.

Believe it or not, you can have a computer without any Windows at all.

Why dont you read the 464,234,185 other articles on this subject and
answer that yourself?

[...emailed aswell...] *sigh*
I would personally recommend that you use Debian, but if you are just looking
to get away from windows then Mandrake is definately the go. Some useful link
